Happy Highways

Lily Lake, RMNP

Lily Lake is easy access — a great way to get a taste of the Rocky Mt. Natl. Park without driving too far, battling too many crowds, or hiking too far from the highway.

The trail around the lake is level and about one mile. There are lots of wildflowers in season and refreshing immersion in other plant and animal life. The water sparkles, and the surrounding mountains inspire.

If you have a little extra energy, you can mount the Lily Ridge Trail from either the east or west end of the lake and climb up among the rocks for still greater views.
