| If you haven't found a figure on the page where you expected it, you
might find it on another, because choreographers often use a figure
from one rhythm (e.g., Merengue) in a dance of another rhythm (e.g.,
Cha). From here, you can search this site for a figure or for any other
topic.
If you get no result, check your spelling, try a shorter
phrase, or try just the main word in your phrase. I might have a
discussion of the topic but with slightly different wording. Notice that the Picosearch looks only
at the figure pages listed in the Browse List on the left side of this
page. The Google Search looks at the entire site. Once you get to a
page that contains your search term, use your browser's "search" or
"find" function (perhaps under the "Edit" drop-down menu) to go to that
specific part of the page.
Another way to search this site is to use the Alphabetical
Index—see "Major Sections" above or in the page footer below. All dance figures and
many other dance topics are listed alphabetically there.
