Here, you can find a specific figure and jump directly to the section of the page that contains that description. For instance, if you want a description of the Aida, find the figure in the alphabetical list and click on the rhythm name in which you are interested (the Aida is a standard figure in Bolero, Cha, Mambo, and Rumba).
Having clicked on one of these links, if you don't immediately see the item you seek, you should need to page down no more than once or twice to find it.

Figure Videos
Readers have suggested that I link to the video snippets at ballroomdancers.com or videojug.com so that for each figure we would have the cue, a description, and a performance video. I'll do that as time allows, but in the meantime, you might want to visit these sites and see if the figure you want is there. A search on a rhythm or even a figure at youtube might turn up a clip, too.
